Artifact Description
My classroom behavior management plan was completed in EDU314- Classroom Behavior and Management Strategies. This describes my philosophy on classroom management and expected behavior. This includes different research and theories focused towards my classroom environment and expectations within. I talk about my personality and how it will affect my classroom management as well as my instructional style and teaching strategies. Artifact Alignment This artifact is aligned with INTASC Standard 8: Instructional Strategies. This artifact fits this standard because it shows how I will teach and use a variety of strategies and resources to modify instruction for my students and to keep them engaged. It is important for teachers to build relationships with their students and creating caring and supportive open communication amongst each other. Personal Reflection My classroom management plan focus on multiple aspects of my classroom. I talk about why I think classroom management is important, my different teaching philosophy and theories I believe in, what kind of management style I have, the environment, classroom rules and so on. I feel it is important for students to feel comfortable in their classroom. It is my job to make sure each student is learning at their maximum potential, I need to modify whatever needs to be changed so students are building knowledge in the most meaningful way. |
